Available Positions:
GSA Schedule Consultant (Washington, DC)
Due to our continuing expansion, the Washington Management Group (WMG) is looking for a full-time consultant for our Washington, DC office. Washington Management Group assists commercial organizations that sell to the Federal Government through GSA Multiple Award Schedule contracts. WMG assists these organizations in obtaining and maintaining GSA Schedule contracts, developing Federal sales plans, training clients regarding contract compliance requirements and marketing to the Federal government.
WMG consultants are expected to provide the following services to assigned client base:
- Serve as primary point of contact and account manager for assigned clients. Manage all formal and informal communications between WMG and the client; manage client access to all available WMG resources; ensure overall client satisfaction and account renewal.
- Manage all aspects of client GSA Schedule contract acquisition and management. Prepare GSA offers, modifications, and similar for clients. Serve as negotiator and intermediary between GSA and client organization on all contract matters.
- Contribute to WMG corporate knowledge-base through continued and diligent acquisition and sharing of knowledge and information relevant to GSA consultancy; be apprised of developments in contract regulation and practice as relates to the GSA Multiple Award Schedule program; and develop and maintain relationships with GSA officials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- General understanding of the GSA Multiple Award Schedule Program
- Four-year college degree – minimum of five years professional experience
- Dynamic and positive personality
- Strong internet and computer skills
- Strong interpersonal telephone and written/electronic communications skills
- Federal or State & Local Government experience a great plus
